Google Nexus 7 by Asus is a  newly launched 7-inch tablet from the search engine giant that is expected to be available for just $199 .

It’s targeted to compete with low cost Amazon Kindle fire and being manufactured at cheaper price. Nexus 7 comes with 1GB RAM and with two versions of internal memory:

  • 8 GB priced at $199
  • 16 GB model priced at $299

Google Nexus 7 has been manufactured with Asus chipset and includes latest features such as NFC (Near Field Communication), Google Wallet, Wi-Fi web browsing etc. It has a pretty decent battery life of 8 hours.

Google Nexus 7 has been aggressively priced at $199(8GB) and $299(16GB) and while the tablet has just launched in U.S. and it will take some time for it to launch in India, the official pricing is not known yet. However, the pricing should be in the range of Rs.12-15k(8GB) and Rs.17-20k(16GB).
