The phone weighs only 127 grams with dimensions of 123x63x10.99 mm. The phone is ergonomically designed and fits quite well in hand. It has a pretty good build quality and finish.

But the device seems to take a cue from iPhone, including the chrome ring around the border to the general bar design. The headphone jack and the power key are housed at the top edge of the phone.

On the right side of the phone, one can find the micro SIM slot. Below this it has a two stage dedicated camera key. The stereo speakers can be found on both sides at the bottom of the phone. XOLO X900 Specs and Features

The XOLO X900 runs on an Intel Atom Z2460 SoC processor which runs at max speed of 1.6 GHz and is a single core Saltwell CPU with Hyper-Threading technology. It has a 512 Kb L2 cache memory. The PowerVR SGX 540 acts as the graphics core running at 400 MHz. This hardware makes it competitive with the smartphones running on either Tegra 3 or Qualcomm S4 platforms.

It has 1GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. Sensors include GPS with navigation, light sensor, proximity and gyroscope, and accelerometer. It had Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, Micro HDMI port, NFC, computer and OTA sync.

The phone has a 4.03 inch SVGA screen (1024×600) which corresponds to almost 300ppi. The screen is very elegant with very sensitive touch which is surely expected from a device in this segment. There are also 4 capacitive touch sensitive buttons at the bottom.

The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and will hopefully be upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich in future. It can easily play full HD video content. Gaming and other graphics intensive tasks also run without any hitches at all.

The phone has a 1.3 MP front facing camera which does its job fine. The rear of the phone houses a stunning 8 MP auto focus camera which supports full HD video recording of 1080p with up to 30FPS. The camera also comes with a whole lot of customizable settings. Modes like auto, portrait, sports, landscape, fireworks, etc. are present. The ISO settings, shutter speed, anti-banding settings, exposure and many other settings can be adjusted manually. The video can only be recorded in 3GP format though.

Overall, Xolo X900 is a pretty good device from Intel. Android coupled with good hardware always does the job well. Same goes with this phone. Though there are a few drawbacks, but those will surely be taken care of in the future line-up of Intel.
